About Us
The Catholic Mothers Apostolate was established in response to the challenges faced by mothers who choose, even temporarily, to prioritise motherhood over pursuing a career.
Recognising the need for a community where Catholic mothers can connect, uplift one another, and embrace the beauty of their vocation, the Apostolate has grown into a thriving network.
Since its launch, the online forum has welcomed over 9,000 members, providing a space to share experiences, seek guidance, and draw strength from their shared faith and purpose. The vibrant community has helped Catholic mothers to feel valued, celebrated, and inspired in their roles as wives and mothers.
The Vision
The launch of the Catholic Mothers Centre marks a pivotal milestone in the growth of the Apostolate. The centre will fulfil the increasing need for a warm, welcoming space where women and their children can come together to support one another to grow in faith, and celebrate the beauty of their vocation.
Situated in a location where Saint Francesca Cabrini began her mission in London – guided by her vision for the “education of the heart” – the centre also seeks to address the challenges faced by homeschooling mothers. At a time when the school system often overlooks the essential role of parents, the Apostolate is committed to maximizing the space’s potential to provide a haven of faith, community and learning.
The Catholic Mothers NEST
The Nest will continue to provide enriching activities for mothers, now more regularly and in a centralised space, ensuring greater accessibility and impact. Every year, the Apostolate will provide a reach programme tailored to the needs of mothers, their children, and their families. From insightful talks and seminars that offer practical guidance and spiritual inspiration, to retreats and conferences that provide opportunities for deep spiritual growth, connection and renewal, the Apostolate will continue to provide a nurturing environment for Catholic mothers.
Seasonal events and more regular classes for young adults and workshops for fathers will be offered.
This exciting new location will enhance the ability of the Catholic Mothers Nest to support mothers and their families in their journey of faith and vocation.
